Development releases are not production ready. Development releases are snapshots of the ongoing Confluence development process. While we try to keep these releases stable, they have not undergone the same degree of testing as a full release, and could contain features that are incomplete or may change or be removed before the next full release.
No upgrade path. Because development releases represent work in progress, we cannot provide a supported upgrade path between development releases, or from any development release to a final release. You may not be able to migrate any data you store in a Confluence development release to a future Confluence release.
Atlassian does not provide support for development releases.

Improved performance for adding Jira issue dates in Team Calendars
For: END USERS ADMINS
We’ve addressed a performance issue with a REST API call in Team Calendar when adding Jira issue dates. Previously, this API request might take a long time to return data for large Jira instances. This caused Confluence team calendars to fail with a timeout error when creating Jira events, Agile Sprints, and Project releases.
We've optimized the performance for the Project and JQL query options, ensuring faster response times and more reliable event creation. However, the Saved filter option might still be affected for Jira instances with many custom fields or issues. If you experience issues, use JQL instead.

In Confluence 9.1, we introduced the faster space deletion as a dark feature to improve the speed and scalability of the space deletion process, making it 10 to 50 times faster. After a space is deleted, admins can create a new one with the same name within seconds.
We’ve now enabled this feature, making it the default setting for Confluence 9.4 and later versions.
Admins can still deactivate the feature if you experience performance issues.
