Crowd 2.5 Release Notes

The Atlassian Crowd team is pleased to present Crowd 2.5.This is a major release with a number of compatibility and performance improvements.
This release includes the following new features:
- Support for JDK 7
- Database drivers are now bundled for PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle.
- Crowd console performance improved with large numbers of groups.
- Cookie domain validation made consistent with RFC 6265
- Spring Security integration upgraded to version 3
There are also a number of bug fixes and other improvements. This release also removes the deprecated support for roles.
