How to adjust an existing Application Link to use OAuth

1. Log into your application as an Administrator
2. Browse to the "Application Links" screen of your application
3. Click the Delete Icon next to the application link you wish to delete.

4. The application will attempt to contact the linked application to delete the link. You should delete both sides of the link before recreating it

   In some cases, it may not be possible to automatically delete the link from the linked application. You should log in to the linked application as an Administrator and verify that it has been deleted correctly.

1. Log into your application as an Administrator
2. Browse to the "Application Links" screen of your application
3. Enter the URL of the application you'd like to link to
4. Follow the on screen instructions.

For each application, disable the Trusted Applications and Basic Authentication mechanisms:

1. Log into your application as an Administrator, and browse to the "Application Links" screen
2. Click "Edit" next to the Application Link you wish to change
3. Click "Outgoing Authentication"
4. Click the "Trusted Applications" tab
5. If Trusted Applications is enabled, click "Disable"
6. Click the "Basic Access" tab
7. If Basic Authentication is enabled, click "Disable"
8. Click "Incoming Authentication"
9. Repeat Steps 5-7

For each application, enable the OAuth authentication mechanism:

1. Log into your application as an Administrator, and browse to the "Application Links" screen
2. Click "Outgoing Authentication"
3. Click the "OAuth" tab
4. Click "Enable"

At this point, 3-Legged OAuth (3LO) has been enabled. When a user access information from another application, they'll be prompted to allow access. You can enable 2-Legged OAuth (2LO) and 2-Legged OAuth with Impersonation (2LOi) requests if required.

Note: The "Execute As" option is only available on the "Incoming Authentication" screen of an application link.
