External gadgets on JIRA Cloud dashboards will be removed on July 7th, 2017. As part of the Cloud Restricted Functions, external gadgets are not support in Atlassian Cloud sites and are therefore being removed from sites with legacy configuration. 

Impact on your cloud site

External gadgets will no longer appear on existing JIRA Cloud dashboards. 

How to identify external gadgets

Follow these steps to determine which of your gadgets are external:  

1. On any JIRA dashboard, click Add gadget.
2. In the banner at the top of the list, click Load all gadgets.
3. Once the list loads, you'll be able to see which gadgets have the "External" label and will be automatically removed on July 7th 2017: 
   

Suggested solutions

If you use external gadgets to display Bamboo information on your JIRA Cloud site, we recommend configuring application links and enabling the supported Bamboo integration. 

If you previously used external gadgets to link to external data feeds, we recommend looking for alternative solutions in the Atlassian Marketplace.
