The Atlassian team announces the release of GreenHopper 6.2.5. This point release contains a number of features as well as several updates and fixes. Upgrading to GreenHopper 6.2.5 is free to all customers with active JIRA software maintenance.

  • New GreenHopper Sprint Health gadget
    The GreenHopper Sprint Health Gadget displays a colour-coded bar graph showing a concise summary of the issues in a specified sprint. The gadget also displays other handy information about the progress of the sprint and participants in the sprint. This gadget is also Wallboard-capable.
  • Set the resolution automatically in Simplified Workflow
    If you are using the Simplified Workflow in GreenHopper, you can now specify which status transitions trigger the Resolution field to be set to 'Done'.
  • New dropdown menu for report configuration
    A new dropdown menu makes configuring the Version Report, Sprint Report, Sprint Burndown or Epic Report  much easier, if you have a long list of versions, sprints or epics to choose from.
     
     
  • Flagging parent stories that are swimlanes in work mode
    Parent stories that are swimlanes in work mode can now be flagged, just like any other issue in work mode.

Upgrading GreenHopper

If you are using downloadable GreenHopper (that is, if GreenHopper is installed on-premises at your site), you can upgrade via the JIRA Plugin Manager . Before upgrading, please read the GreenHopper 6.2 Upgrade Notes.

            The update doesn't show up in the UPM in my installation.

            I'm using JIRA 5.2.11 and 6.2.4.1 of Greenhopper.

            We have the same situation as Oskar.  Running those exact same versions in production and cannot update Greenhopper.

              We've found an issue where customers who are on GreenHopper 6.2.4.1 cannot see GreenHopper 6.2.5 in UPM. We hope to make it available to you soon. Apologies for any inconvenience.

                If you want to get your hands on the new version sooner, you can always download it manually from the Marketplace website.

    Auto-setting the resolution only works with "done". in our instance, there's only "fixed", but the feature is too static for this.

      MartinB this feature is intended for use with very simple workflows. You can alter the resolution that is set by modifying the workflow from JIRA if you wish. We do not intend to make this feature configurable to allow setting of any resolution, as we believe this would diminish the benefits of simplicity.

      Also, to clarify - the feature will automatically create a resolution of "Done" to use if one does not exist in your system.
