要約

Permission to look up users and groups comes from the Global permission "Browse users and groups" or Project permission "Browse Projects." If a user is unable to find users, it is likely they are not part of a group with these permissions.

Assign global "Browse users and groups" permission

  1. Go to Settings > System
  2. On the left side menu, click Global permissions
  3. Scroll to the bottom of the permissions page
  4. Select Grant "Browse users and groups" to a group of which the affected user is part
  5. Click Add

Users without this Browse Users Global Permission would still be able to add users to any user picker field by explicitly providing the exact username - or groupname as the case may be. They will not have auto-suggest working for them.

Assign "Browse Projects" project permission

  1. Click on gear icon at the top right of the page and click the "Issues" menu item

  2. Select "Permission schemes" from the left menu

  3. Click "Permissions" for the permissions scheme in use by your project

  4. Click "Update" for "Browse Projects" project permission

  5. Assign the project permission to the correct users in the checkbox list (Role, Group, Single user etc.)

Common problems without the proper permissions

If your users aren't assigned the above permissions, they will see the following behaviors:

  • ユーザーがユーザー ピッカー フィールドでユーザーを選択または検索できない。
  • Jira applications don't auto-suggest any user or group (e.g. when configuring global permissions) as the user begins typing
  • Auto-suggest feature doesn't work when trying to mention other users using @... (see also: Mentions are Not Working in JIRA applications)
