Check the Status Category for affected issues

In Jira business projects, issues will be hidden from the board view when they have been in a Done status for more than 14 days.

Even if your status names are "To Do," or "In Progress," if those statuses are mapped to the Done status category, they will be considered Done statuses. Issues in those statuses will be hidden from the board after 14 days.

Set status categories to match the intent of each status

  1. Navigate to your project -> Project settings -> Issue type
  2. Select the affected issue type
  3. Select Edit Workflow
  4. Select the To Do status
  5. Under Name and Category, change the category from "Done" to "To Do"
  6. Repeat steps 4-5 for all affected statuses in your project
  7. Update the workflow to save your changes
