要約
The following error is displayed when viewing certain boards in Jira.
"The requested board cannot be viewed because it either does not exist or you do not have permission to view it."
Find the board's location
This error is caused by one of two factors:
- The board is located in a project for which the user does not have access permissions
- The board is located on a user's profile, and the board filter is not shared
To determine which is the cause:
- Visit the board
- Select ... (More settings) > Configure board
- Navigate to the General tab and check the Location drop-down
If the board is located on a project
The affected user may not have permission to browse this project.
- Navigate to the project
- Select
Project Settings > Permissions
- Ensure the Browse Projects permission is granted to all affected users
If the board is located on a user profile
You can choose whether you'd like to move the board to a project, or share the filter with the affected user(s).
Generally, it's easier and more sustainable to relocate the board to its associated project:
- Visit the board
- Select ... (More settings) > Configure board
- In the Location drop down, search for and choose the project
Please see our documentation on managing shared filters if you'd prefer to keep the board on the user's profile, or if you're unsure how to correct the filter shares.
