GreenHopper 5.8.3 Release Notes

The Atlassian team announces the release of GreenHopper 5.8.3. GreenHopper 5.8.3 delivers enhancements to the Rapid Board, including:- quick and easy creation of Rapid Views with presets or do-it-yourself options,
- the ability to copy a Rapid View,
- performance improvements for the Rapid Board,
- ability to configure the Rapid View Wallboard Gadget with Quick Filters.
GreenHopper 5.8.3 also introduces a Java and REST API to allow the Global Rank of an issue to be updated programatically. This release also includes a number of fixes.
Upgrading to GreenHopper 5.8.3 is free for all customers with an active GreenHopper license.

Upgrading from a Previous Version of GreenHopper
GreenHopper 5.8 requires an administrator to restart and reindex JIRA after the upgrade.
You can upgrade GreenHopper via the JIRA Plugin Manager. Before upgrading, please read the GreenHopper 5.8.3 Upgrade Notes.
