Scrum graduates from Labs

In GreenHopper 5.10, Scrum support is now a core part of the product. This means that Plan mode is now automatically available for all Scrum boards — you no longer need to enable it via Labs. Likewise, the Scrum option will automatically be available whenever you create a new board.

Guys, this version rocks ! Now that we can remove a story from a Sprint I think the move to the new Rapid board approach for scrum can be made on real projects. Thank's for this great work.

Are the gadgets being changed/added to support the rapid board approach?

Hello to everybody, we are using Scrum for quite some sprints and we really like the flexibility. Only one question: is it possible to customize the plan mode view by changing or adding some more fields? We really miss labels and categories.

    Thanks and Regards

    Ross

I second this; i would like to add some (label) fields as well.

No way, don't take us back to the config hell that was the original boards. Keep hitting us with that simple stick!

Great release. However it still has a major limitation that makes it a show stopper; The inability to run multiple sprints at the same time.

Jason; why would you/do you want to do that?

        Hi Edwin,

We intend to have many clients, these clients will have one or more projects. We will have separate team(s) for each of our clents/projects etc.  Depending on the client or project we will have different backlogs and run sprints (for relevant teams) at different intervals.  As I understand the current Rapid Board features, this is not possible.

          Hi Jason,

If i understand it correctly, the Rapid Board is ideal for this situation. I would give it a try if i were you, you'd be suprised of the possibilities. Try making multiple Rapid Boards per team backlog, and adjust your filtering according to your wishes per sprint.

          Best of luck,

          Edwin.

P.S If i can provide any assistance, feel free to ask.
