This page describes how to insert a link that, when clicked, launches the default email client.

(lightbulb) You can provide your own text to use as the link text instead of the 'mailto' tag.

To insert a link that creates a new email message:

  1. Edit the page on which you want to insert the link.
  2. Choose Insert > Link and select the Web Link tab.
  3. Enter an email address, such as 'jsmith@non.existent.corp.com'.
  4. Enter your own link text, if required.
