The hover profile popup contains several options that allow you to access another Confluence user's profile-related features.

Open the user's Hover Profile popup. To do this:

  1. Log in to Confluence, if you have not already done so.
  2. Move your mouse pointer over a user's linked name or profile picture. Wait until the hover profile popup appears.

If a Confluence Administrator has granted the 'View User Profiles' permission to anonymous users, hover profile popups can be accessed anonymously - that is, without being logged in to Confluence. However, the Hover Profile features available to 'Anonymous' users are much more restricted than those available to Confluence users who have logged in.
