Extended Maintenance Program
Who is this for: Organizations using impacted Atlassian Data Center products that may need approved support beyond the Data Center end-of-life date.
The Extended Maintenance Program (EMP) is Atlassian’s program for providing paid Data Center support for certain customers after Data Center End Of Life (EOL). EMP is available by exception only for customers who are approved to continue using impacted Data Center products beyond.
If your organization believes it may not be able to migrate to Atlassian Cloud before Data Center EOL, please contact your Atlassian representative or contact Atlassian to discuss your options.
Important: EMP is an exception path for select customers. It is not a general extension of Data Center availability, and it is not a long-term alternative to cloud.
What EMP provides
If your organization is approved for EMP, Atlassian will continue paid support for your impacted Data Center products after . This includes:
Continued paid support for the duration of your approved Data Center contract
Security bug fixes for critical vulnerabilities
Support for Data Center products to help ensure scale for participating customers
EMP is intended to help organizations that need additional time to complete a cloud transformation because of qualifying business, technical, or regulatory blockers.
How Marketplace Partner sharing works
By agreeing to participate in EMP, you consent to Atlassian sharing your EMP approval status with Marketplace Partners who provide the third-party applications you use today.
This helps these partners assess customer demand and plan for possible continued support during the EMP period.
Atlassian may share limited information for this purpose, and is limited to:
Your company name
The Marketplace apps you currently use from that partner
Your confirmed EMP approval status
Marketplace Partners agree to only use this information for planning related to potential app support beyond the Data Center EOL deadline. This information will not be used for any other purpose, including, but not limited to outreach or marketing activities based on these customers EMP eligibility.
Please note: Sharing this information helps partners plan, but it does not obligate any third-party vendor to continue supporting their app during the EMP period.
