The ability to export a set of issues as JSON when searching for or viewing an issue will be removed from JIRA Cloud on April 30th, 2017. Exporting issues as JSON was a beta feature, disabled by default. Because of the low usage of this feature, known issues around creating incomplete export files (custom fields would not be included) and the investment required to support this functionality, we've decided to remove these modules: 

• com.atlassian.jira.plugins.jira-importers-plugin:searchrequest-json
• com.atlassian.jira.plugins.jira-importers-plugin:issue-json

Impact on your site

Users will not be able to export issues as JSON. 

Suggested solution

All other forms of export will continue to work as expected. For example, when searching for issues, you can export the search result as CSV. When viewing an issue, you can export as XML.
