Capture for JIRA fails with error code 407 in IE while using NTLM Proxy

症状

Capture for JIRA fails with the following message in Internet Explorer while being used in networks deploying an NTLM proxy.

The following appears on the browser screen while using add-on.

The URL <<url of JIRA server>> responded with a status code of 407

原因

This error happens in environments where a proxy is used with NTLM authentication. When the proxy responds back with 407 error Chrome/Firefox plugin responds correctly to authenticate while in case of IE this is not done. This is tracked under the bug report BON-796 - IE plugin not responding to NTLM auth challenge.

回避策

The workaround to make this work in Internet Explorer is to use a proxy that does not require authentication.
