Migrate An Existing Bitbucket Cloud Workspace To A Unified User Management Workspace

要約
We recently introduced Unified User Management, now available for new Bitbucket Cloud workspaces. This feature allows organizations to manage Bitbucket Cloud users, groups, and manage product access in Atlassian administration. With this update, you can manage your users across all Atlassian tools in one unified place and connect to external directories through Atlassian Guard.
However, existing workspaces cannot currently be configured to use Unified User Management. We are working on releasing this functionality for existing workspaces in the future. If you would like to utilize the benefits of Unified User Management now, you can follow the instructions below to create a new workspace and migrate your existing data from the current workspace to the new one.
ソリューション
- Change the existing workspace ID to something different (e.g., myWorkspace_old) so it's available for the next step.
- Create a workspace from Atlassian administration using the original workspace ID (e.g., myWorkspace).
- Navigate to Atlassian administration (select your organization if you have more than one).
- Click on the Products tab
- Add Product, and select Bitbucket.
- Follow the in-product steps to create your new workspace.
- Transfer the repositories from the current workspace to the new workspace.
- You can semi-automate this process using a script - Bulk Transfer Repositories
- Downgrade the old workspace plan and upgrade the new workspace plan.
- You can now utilize Atlassian administration to give users access to Bitbucket Cloud.
Once completed, Organization administrations can manage Bitbucket Cloud users from Atlassian administration.
