How to clear browser cache for Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Safari

目的

Clearing the browser cache is a common step in troubleshooting browser issues because the information stored in the cache may be cluttered with outdated or invalid data and sometimes cause problems that affect the performance or functionality of Bitbucket Cloud, such as:

  • Bitbucket Cloud website may not display correctly because the browser loads outdated styles or scripts from the cache.
  • Bitbucket Cloud website may load slowly because the browser is trying to access resources from the cache that are no longer available.
  • Bitbucket Cloud website may not function as expected because the browser is loading an outdated version of a script that has been updated on the server.

Clearing the cache forces the browser to fetch fresh copies of all web resources, which can help to resolve these types of issues.

  • Google Chrome ( Source )

    • At the top right corner, click More  さらに読む > More tools > Clear browsing data .

    • At the top, choose a time range. To delete everything, select  All time.

    • Deselect other browsing data types, except Cached images and files

    • Click  Clear data.

  • Microsoft Edge ( Source )

    • At the top right corner, click More >  Settings > Privacy, search, and services

    • Under   Clear browsing data  >  Clear browsing data now , select   Choose what to clear 

    • Under  Time range, choose a time range from the drop-down menu.

    • Deselect other browsing data types, except Cached images and files

    • Select  Clear now.

  • Mozilla Firefox (Source)

    • At the top right corner, click the Menu Fx89menuButton >  Preferences > Privacy & Security .

    • In the  Cookies and Site Data  section, click Clear Data…

    • Remove the checkmark in front of   Cookies and Site Data

    • With  Cached Web Content  check marked, click the  Clear  button.

    • Close the " about:preferences"  page.  Any changes you've made will automatically be saved.

  • Safari ( Source )

      • At the top left corner, click Safari > Preferences...

      • Select the Advanced tab, then check the box next to Show Develop menu in menu bar.

      • Navigate back to the menu bar on the top, and select Develop -> Empty Caches.

    • Method 2: Deletes everything relating to a website you've visited (Cache, cookies, and any other related data)

      • At the top left corner, click Safari > Preferences...

      • Select the Privacy tab > Manage Website Data.

      • Select a website that is listed, then click Remove.
