A workaround exists for Microsoft Office for Mac users. To open an Office document:

  1. Copy the link location of the Edit Document link (or icon) on the macro.
     
  2. In Office for Mac, go to File > Open URL and then paste in the URL of the document. 
  3. Enter your credentials.
