Confluence 1.0rc2

一週間ほど集中してバグを修正した後に、アトラシアンは Confluence 1.0 リリース候補版 2 をリリースしました。皆様には、RC1 で見つかったすべてのバグを報告いただき感謝いたします。引き続き、問題があれば皆様からのご報告をお待ちしておりますが、アトラシアンは今後、報告される件数が減っていくように取り組んでいきます。

RC2 がリリースされたのは、RC1 より大幅に安定しているためです。多くのお客様が生産性を高めるために Confluence を何らかの形で使用していることは明らかであるため、皆様を待たせないように今週中に重要な修正を実施します。

機能フリーズの最中であるため、このリリースに新しい主要な機能が含まれていないのは明らかですが、いくつかの段階的な改善と多数の修正があります。

ただし、それには以下の点に注意します。

警告

Confluence 1.0rc1 からアップグレードする場合は、Confluence 内のデータからバックアップを実施しないでください。RC1 には、データエクスポート中にユーザー権限が破損する原因になる重大なバグがありました。

RC1 と RC2 の間でデータベースの変更はありませんので、バックアップ/リストアを実行せずに、既存のデータに対して単純に RC2 を実行できるはずです。

アップグレード前にデータを安全にバックアップする場合は、手動でバックアップする必要があります。Confluence をシャットダウンして、Confluence のホームディレクトリのコピーを作成します (confluence-init.properties で定義)。データを HSQL 以外に保存する場合は、データベースのネイティブのバックアップ手順に従います。

Remote XML-RPC and SOAP APIs now have a getPermissions() method
{noformat} macro accepts a title parameter
Page view and create links are no longer displayed if the user does not have permission to view or create the destination page.
When you create a page from viewing a previous page, you are given another chance to make that page the new page's parent.
RSS and HTML include macros use HTML proxies if they are defined using the standard Java http.proxyHost and http.proxyPort system properties.
Default session timeout is now 60 minutes

安定性

アトラシアンはこれまで、報告された例外やページエラーの原因を追跡して、その原因を修正することに取り組んできました。また、エラー報告ページにいくつかの改善を加えました。これらの問題が (もし発生してしまっても)、もうこれ以上以前のような頻度で発生しないことを願っています。

ページテンプレート

ページテンプレートの作成、編集、削除の信頼性が大幅に向上したため、よりスムーズなユーザーエクスペリエンスが実現しました。

当社が引き続き取り組む必要がある 2 つの主要な領域は、PDF のエクスポートとページ (特にページタイトル) での非 ASCII 文字の使用です。どちらも 1 週間前と比べて対応はかなり進んでいますが、完全に信頼できるようになるまでにはまだ作業が残っています。
