The Exclusion Rules may be set to consider Issues resolved only in the past 30 days, but Issues resolved longer ago still show up.

環境

All versions of Jira Software 8 and 9 (Data Center or Server).

診断

Confirm if the Issues being shown adhere to these:

1. They are all in "Done" Status Category (green Status lozenge)
2. They all have the Resolution field set, and also the Resolution Date
3. They were resolved before the resolution date threshold configured in the Plan "Exclusion Rules" (default 30 days)
4. All Issues below in the Hierarchy also adhere to the same 3 rules above

For item #4, you can run this JQL replacing "JIRA-123" by Issues that are resolved and should not be showing up:

key in ("JIRA-123", childIssuesOf("JIRA-123"))

Configure the Filter Results to display these columns:

Resolved is the "Resolution Date". Confirm if all Issues that show up in JIRA-123's hierarchy are all in a "Green Status", have the Resolution set (i.e. not "Unresolved") and if the "Resolved" date is beyond the threshold in the Plan Exclusion Rules.

If there's an Issue in the Hierarchy that is not Resolved (or properly Resolved, like missing the Resolution field or date), Roadmap Plans will exhibit the Issues in the Hierarchy on the Plan even if they themselves were resolved long ago.

You may properly Resolve the Issues identified in the Diagnosis step and wait for the Resolution Date threshold to roll-past the cutting date.

To validate the fix, you may:

• Properly resolve the Issues (have them in a "Green Status"; have the Resolution set and Resolution Date)
• Update the exclusion rule to 0 Days:

• Validate the Issues are excluded from the Plan now
