Confluence 1.0.3 is available for download. It's another point-release on the 1.0 branch, containing a bugfixes related to Postgresql support, the remote API, and the display of the site's stylesheet under certain versions of Internet Explorer 6.
1.0.3 is a recommended upgrade for anyone running a public Confluence site, as the IE6 stylesheet bug can really mess up the Confluence experience for those users effected. However, if you don't feel that the issues fixed for the release are going to cause you problems, there's no pressing need to upgrade from 1.0.2.
Also a warning to anyone still running 1.0.1: You MUST UPGRADE to 1.0.2 soon, to avoid being hit by the same license bug that caused 1.0 installations to fail. Alternatively, you can use the workaround described below to change your installation's build-date, and fool the bug into continuing to function:
- 1.0.3 Download
- 1.0.3 Release notes
- 1.0.3 issues resolved
- 1.0.1 Build-date hack (Does not apply to 1.0.2 or later)
We don't anticipate any more point-releases on the 1.0 branch, as we feel it's more important now to work towards 1.1, which will contain a lot of the bug-fixes that were too high-impact for 1.0, as well as lots of nifty new features.
