Wikis are a great great way to promote informal learning. The use of wikis brings a fresh learning approach when you compare it to how SCORM / AICC are used universally. Some experimentation have been done to try wiki as a learning platform, but what is missing is tracking and assessment as a result of learning.
Gilly is a plugin app to allow integrated delivery of EduBrite LMS functions via Confluence. The first release enables delivery of online tests and assessment exams. Users of confluence don’t have to leave the application to take the exams and tests. Gilly adds test taking interfaces in the confluence environment. Several ways of tests delivery is possible – informal practice tests for unlimited practice, assignments, online exams. We plan to continue our work on adding more capabilities into Gilly, and are excited to get an appearance in AtlasCamp.More Details on Gilly
