The Object Page helps you see all object details, including comments, attachments, and a history of changes. It also displays all tickets connected to an object and all references to an object.

Object Type Page Layout Configuration page provides you a way to customize the layout of your Object Page. This is primarily to choose the information that you want to see as opposed to the traditional Object Schema view which displays all information. Moreover, it also provides you a way to configure information in the form of widgets in separate sections which makes it easy to view the Object Page.

You can reach this configuration page in the following way:

1. Choose your schema listed under Insight → Object Schemas on the menu or by clicking on the link of Object Type at the far right of the Object page. Both of the navigation paths are shown below.
   
   

   
   

   
   
   
   
2. Select any object type for which you want to change the object page layout.
3. Click on Object Type button at the far right and then click on the option Configure. You will now reach the object type configuration screen.
4. Click on Configure page layout button at the top right corner. You will now be able to see the Object Type Layout configuration page.
5. Once you configure changes on this page, you can click on Save changes button and you will come back to the object type configuration screen.

Components of the object page layout

The object page layout has two main configurable sections - the main panel and the side panel. Additionally, you can configure the mid sections. All of these options are described below.

Header Section

This is a non-configurable section displayed for an object on the Object Page. It contains the following:

• Displays the object name and its label.
• A  button at the right which helps you view the graphical representation of the object.
• A  button at the right which provides options to print the label or QR code.
• A option to perform additional actions like editing an object or moving it.

Adjacent to the top section, there is also the Object type and the count of Watchers that would be displayed on the Object Page. This too is non-configurable.

Mid section

This provides Action buttons in the form of checkboxes to configure Attachment and Comment for the Object Page.

How to configure the attachment and comment checkboxes

You can check or uncheck the checkbox provided for Attachment. If the checkbox is checked, it means that the Attachment widget will be visible on the tab panel of the Object Page. If not, it will be hidden.

The same rule applies to the Comment checkbox as well.

Click on Save Changes button at the top right corner to save the configuration changes. You will be prompted to review and confirm the changes. They are listed section-wise as shown below.

Tab Panel

This is a configurable section placed in the central part of the page that contains the following:

• Any of the six widgets below, each displayed in a tab:
  • Attributes Widget
  • Connected Tickets Widget
  • Comments Widget
  • Attachments Widget
  • Inbound References Widget
  • Object History Widget
  • IQL query Widget
• A  button at the far right which allows you to add a widget

• A  button which helps to remove widgets from the panel.

How to configure Tab Panel

You can configure the following on the tab panel container:

Add a widget

1. Click on the  button in the tab panel container to add a widget
2. A New Tab appears adjacent to the existing ones. You can double click on it and rename it as per your choice.
3. You can then choose the widget you want to add by selecting a value from the dropdown Panel Content.
4. Click on Save Changes button at the top right corner to save the configuration changes. All changes will be listed section-wise and you will be prompted to review and confirm them.

Remove a widget

1. Select the tab that you want to remove from the tab panel container.
2. Click on the  button.
3. This will prompt a confirmation message asking your consent for deleting the tab. Choose your response accordingly.
4. Click on Save Changes button at the top right corner to save the configuration changes. All changes will be listed section-wise and you will be prompted to review and confirm them.

Reorder tabs

1. Click on any tab in the tab panel container.
2. Drag and drop it to a position of your choice within that same row.
3. Click on Save Changes button at the top right corner to save the configuration changes. All changes will be listed section-wise and you will be prompted to review and confirm them.

Rename tabs

1. Double click on any tab name in the tab panel container.
2. This will enable a text input where you can now enter the new name of your choice
3. Click on Save Changes button at the top right corner to save the configuration changes. All changes will be listed section-wise and you will be prompted to review and confirm them.

Side Panel

This is a configurable section placed on the right side of the page where you can place any of the below six widgets one after the other:

• Attributes Widget
• Connected Tickets Widget
• Comments Widget
• Attachments Widget
• Inbound References Widget
• Object History Widget
• IQL クエリ ウィジェット

How to configure Side Panel

You can configure the following in the side panel container:

Add a panel

1. Click on the  button in the side panel container.
2. A new section gets added at the top which is titled New Panel. You can double click on this title and rename it as per your choice.
3. You can then choose the widget you want to add by selecting a value from the dropdown Panel content.
4. Click on Save Changes button at the top right corner to save the configuration changes.  All changes will be listed section-wise and you will be prompted to review and confirm them.

Remove a panel

1. Navigate to the panel that you want to remove from the side panel container.
2. Click on the  button.

1. Double click on any tab name in the tab panel container.
2. This will enable a text input where you can now enter the new name of your choice
3. Click on Save Changes button at the top right corner to save the configuration changes. All changes will be listed section-wise and you will be prompted to review and confirm them.

How to reset Object page layout

When you configure the object page layout according to your needs and click on Save Changes, a Reset link is visible at the top center. This link helps you reset the entire object page layout to the default layout. Note that this link will only be visible if you have saved the changes to your configured layout.

The Reset link will also be available if you have configured the Object Page Layout previously and then come back to it at a later point in time.

If you click this link, a confirmation dialogue will display asking your consent for the reset. You can choose your response accordingly. Screenshot is shown below.
