The Object Page helps you see all object details, including comments, attachments, and a history of changes. It also displays all tickets connected to an object and all references to an object.
Object Type Page Layout Configuration page provides you a way to customize the layout of your Object Page. This is primarily to choose the information that you want to see as opposed to the traditional Object Schema view which displays all information. Moreover, it also provides you a way to configure information in the form of widgets in separate sections which makes it easy to view the Object Page.
You can reach this configuration page in the following way:
Choose your schema listed under Insight → Object Schemas on the menu or by clicking on the link of Object Type at the far right of the Object page. Both of the navigation paths are shown below.


Below is a screenshot of the Layout configuration screen:

The object page layout has two main configurable sections - the main panel and the side panel. Additionally, you can configure the mid sections. All of these options are described below.
This is a non-configurable section displayed for an object on the Object Page. It contains the following:
Adjacent to the top section, there is also the Object type and the count of Watchers that would be displayed on the Object Page. This too is non-configurable.
This provides Action buttons in the form of checkboxes to configure Attachment and Comment for the Object Page.
All configuration changes for attachment and comment will take effect for all users of the schema. |
You can check or uncheck the checkbox provided for Attachment. If the checkbox is checked, it means that the Attachment widget will be visible on the tab panel of the Object Page. If not, it will be hidden.
The same rule applies to the Comment checkbox as well.

Click on Save Changes button at the top right corner to save the configuration changes. You will be prompted to review and confirm the changes. They are listed section-wise as shown below.

This is a configurable section placed in the central part of the page that contains the following:

button which helps to remove widgets from the panel.

When you configure the object page layout according to your needs and click on Save Changes, a Reset link is visible at the top center. This link helps you reset the entire object page layout to the default layout. Note that this link will only be visible if you have saved the changes to your configured layout.
The Reset link will also be available if you have configured the Object Page Layout previously and then come back to it at a later point in time.
If you click this link, a confirmation dialogue will display asking your consent for the reset. You can choose your response accordingly. Screenshot is shown below.
