I'm a developer on the Confluence team, and I started at Atlassian in January 2006.
Unlike some of the other Confluence developers (Charles and Jens for example), I'm more of a Windows/Linux guy than a Mac guy. Although I am thinking of getting a Macbook this year.
I'm very interested in web development, specifically accessible and semantic site design. Wikis are actually one of the most interesting areas of web development, I believe, because they're a totally new form of content. Blogs came from the idea of personal journals, some websites are like marketing brochures, but I think there's nothing comparable to a wiki in the physical world. On a wiki you can create an array of linked and searchable content, then anyone can improve on the words you've written, collaborating on whatever you want.
I also have a personal blog.
