While creating an issue, Project field not showing all the projects available

Summary

While using the Create option to create an issue, all the projects are not visible in the Project field.

Environment

Jira Cloud

Solution

The project list is set up to display Recent and All Projects, but due to space and performance reasons, it may not show every project at once. 

However, when the user starts typing the name of a project, the system should provide matching suggestions, allowing the user to select the correct project even if it doesn't initially appear in the list. This means that the user needs to know at least part of the project's name if they want to create a ticket.

  • Additionally, the user should have the create issue permission in the project.
