Unable to add user groups under View permission of Filters

Summary

Unable to add user group under view permissions of Filters.

Diagnosis

When users try to add the user group under the View permission of the Filter, nothing happens; it doesn't get added.

Cause

This is an expected behavior. The user group that we were trying to add as a viewer already has editor permissions (under the second dropdown). By default, an editor has viewer permissions.

We can see the user group is highlighted under the editor permissions every time we click to add it as a viewer, indicating that it already belongs to a higher-order permission group.

Solution

If users want view-only access, we would have to remove it from the editor group first and then add it to the viewer group; it will get added.
