問題

When administering JIRA, you may find that some issue statuses have the following description:

This status is managed internally by JIRA

This may lead to confusion on whether these statuses are safe to edit or remove.

原因

This description indicates that the issue status was created manually on an Agile board (Configure > Columns > Add status).

The ability to Add statuses within the Board Configuration is only available when using the Simplified Workflow.  

ソリューション

These issue statuses can be treated as any other issue status. They are not required by JIRA and can be modified or removed.
