How to add newly created issues to the active/next sprint using Automation

Summary

Automation rule that is scheduled to create issues and add them to the active/next Sprint.

Solution

You can add newly created issues to Active/upcoming sprints through an automation rule by modifying the Sprint field during the issue creation process. You can select from the dropdown whether to add issues to the next or the currently active sprint from a specific board.

Please note that if you left the sprint field empty the Sprint value will be cleared.
