Clone a Jira project using CSV import
Platform Notice: Cloud - This article applies to Atlassian products on the cloud platform.
要約
In Jira Cloud, it's not possible to clone a project without third-party apps, however with a few manual steps, you can achieve similar results.
Manually clone or copy the entire project
Create a new Project with the shared settings as checked on Shared settings on the existing project and choose the initial/original project.
Doing this will copy all the configurations of the original project. The list of configurations that would be copied is below.
- 課題タイプ
- ワークフロー
- 画面
- フィールド
- 権限
- 通知
- Project Category
- プロジェクトのリーダー
- 既定の担当者
Once the project is created, you may have to export all the issues from the original project and import them to the newly created cloned project.
Review our documentation on importing data from a CSV file and also make sure you add the parent issue types first and then the subtasks while adding them to the CSV file while importing to the cloned project (or) another option is to split and upload by updating the parent issues first and then the subtasks.
Check on How to import issues with hierarchy from a CSV into Jira.
Once you have created a new project and imported the CSV from the original project to the cloned project, you should have all issues created in the project as the source project. Please validate the issues to confirm that they have been imported as expected.
If you face any issues with the above procedure, please contact the Atlassian Support Team here.
