症状

Attempts to bulk edit a group of issues results in an error message like the following:

"NOTE: You do not have permission to edit the selected 154 issues or at least one issue has a status that forbids editing.".

A screenshot of the error :

原因

There might be a closed issue among the issues that have been chosen to be edited.

または

There might be different Issue-level Security Schemes configured on child issues.

または

The issues are using different workflows configured in the Workflow Scheme.
For example, bug issues use workflow A, but all other issue types use workflow B.

ソリューション

  • Reopen the closed issues individually or exclude them from the search filter
    or
  • If there are one or more child issues associated with Parent and not visible to the user while performing bulk edit, please check if there are any Issue-level Security Schemes configured on the hidden child issues
    or
  • Remove the jira.issue.editable=false property from the "Closed" workflow step to make issues in such status editable again.
tip/resting Created with Sketch.

There's a feature request at JRA-22473 to change this by default.

If the above method does not work,  try these steps :

  1. Access your Workflow page in your Jira Administration
  2. Review the workflow scheme that is being used by the project
  3. Check to see if any issue types are using different workflows
  4. Check the validators and conditions transitions of the workflow
