Integrating with code development tools
If you use Bitbucket or Stash to manage your code repositories, you can create code branches in your code development tools directly from JIRA issues. This makes it easy to start working on a new branch for a particular bug or feature.
To create a code branch in Bitbucket or Stash, click the Create Branch link in the "Development" section on an issue. Only users with the "View Development Tools" project permission will have access to the "Development" section on issues.
