Mobile clients randomly disconnect when connected to Hipchat Server

This article applies to a version of Hipchat Server which is beyond the Atlassian End of Life policy, and is no longer supported.
You should upgrade to a more recent version of Hipchat Server as soon as you can to take advantage of new features, and security and bug fixes. If possible, you should also consider deploying Hipchat Data Center instead.
問題
Users connected to mobile Hipchat clients in iOS and Android are randomly disconnected from their clients without a clear error message when connecting to a Hipchat Server instance.

環境
- The affected users are sourced from an external LDAP directory
- You are using the Follow referral option in the LDAP configuration in Hipchat Server
原因
The cause of the problem is related to the Follow Referral option that is enabled through LDAP configuration.
回避策
Browse to Server admin >> Directories
- Edit the directory where the affected users are located
- Disable the Follow referrals option below Advanced settings
