問題
User locked out of the Hipchat Server web UI.
ソリューション
Users that have forgotten their password for Hipchat Server can typically use the "Forgot Password" link in the Web UI (i.e. https://hipchat.example.com/forgot_password) in order to regain access, however if the user accounts are coming from the Directory Integration (such as Active Directory or LDAP etc.) they will need to reset or update the password directly from the directory. Resetting the password from Hipchat Server won't work.
If you are the first admin/owner of the Hipchat Server and can no longer log in (forgotten password AND/OR the email address does not match), from the Console/SSH command line you can reset the admin's email address with the following:
hipchat service --reset-owner=EMAIL - the email specified MUST be unique and is not already registered on the server
- Return to the login screen and either log in with your existing password or choose the forgot the password option.
If you have single-sign on (SSO) enabled, but it is misconfigured or unavailable, the administrator account can still log in using the Admin login link at the bottom of the sign in page.
