Export and import data from Hipchat Data Center
Hipchat Data Center administrators can export and import Hipchat data. Admins can do the following:
- Migrate from Hipchat Cloud to Hipchat Data Center
- Hipchat Server から Hipchat Data Center への移行
- Migrate from one Hipchat Data Center to another Hipchat Data Center
You can export data from Hipchat Data Center, and import a Hipchat data archive into Hipchat Data Center.

セキュリティ
When you export, Hipchat creates an encrypted archive file using 256 AES (standard encryption). The archive file is hosted at a unique URL. (If you're exporting from Hipchat Server or Hipchat Data Center deployment, that URL is on the deployment being exported.) The download of the file is not secured, but the file is encrypted with a password.
Hipchat data that is and (isn't) exported from Hipchat Data Center
Following are high-level details on the data that is and isn't exported:
The export includes users, rooms, and room history by default.
You can also choose to export files and 1-to-1 chat history.
The export excludes integrations, passwords, API tokens, users auto-join information, and server settings.
The following table gives more detail on which data is and isn't exported from Hipchat Data Center.
