The Atlassian JIRA team announces the release of JIRA 5.2.4. This point release contains several updates and fixes.Upgrading to JIRA 5.2.4 is free to all customers with active JIRA software maintenance.

Removed 'None' option for Custom Fields
The following issue is fixed by upgrading to JIRA 5.2.4:
- If Select List is Required and has a Default Value, the 'None' option is not displayed when the Select List is edited.
