As of June 1, 2015, the IDE Connector documentation will no longer be maintained by Atlassian. See https://developer.atlassian.com/blog/2015/06/discontinuing-ide-connectors-support/ for more information. We will also be making this documentation available for our open source community here: http://atlassian-docs.bitbucket.org/

The Atlassian Connector for IntelliJ IDEA allows you to create pre-commit Crucible reviews from within IntelliJ IDEA.

Prerequisites

Please make sure that you have installed the Atlassian Connector for IntelliJ IDEA, as described in the Installation Guide, and defined at least one Crucible server, as described in the Configuration Guide.

A description of how to add changesets/changelists and files to an existing review would be nice. Hard to figure out how to do this from the Atlassian Connector's UI itself.

I love this plugin! Even when I didnt use it yet (smile)

It would be nice if you could view existing reviews in the IDE, it's pretty much useless as is

The normal code review process goes as follows:

    1) submitter: writes some code, posts it for review (eventually using this plugin)

    2) reviewer: reviews the code change, writes comments/suggestions

    3) submitter: implements the suggestions, posts the changed code for review

How can one do step 3 through IDEA plug-in using the same review as in step 1? Is this possible at all or I should create new reviews each time I implement the changes suggested in the previous review?

    Useless plugin.

Can't do much with it. Cannot see code reviews, nor can post or add comments. You cannot even open the file in crucible if there is already an ongoing review for that file.

The only thing this plugin almost does is create a pre-commit review. It seems like the older versions supported viewing reviews in intellij and so forth. Is this a bug or intended?

Sadly it's intended. They removed all useful functionality from the Crucible plugin when 3.0 was released which is why I uninstalled the connector and have not used it since. See the release notes for 3.0 for more information: https://confluence.atlassian.com/x/uxCzDQ

"Working with Crucible Reviews in IDEA"
Loved the title - installed the plugin - expected the Crucible review features to be at hand in IDEA  - well my mistake.
Too bad the plugin can't help Atlassian customers in their review workflow.
