Inline comments are not working with some 2 or 3 letters words or a selection of letters

Problem
Inline comments are not working with some 2 or 3 letters words such as: get, in, to, the.... A UI warning appears
We can't add your inline comment; the section you highlighted may contain a macro or user mention. Try highlighting plain text.
To reproduce the behavior:
Select words with 2 or 3 letters (to, in, and, the) or a set of 2 or 3 letters from a word
Start an inline comment
Type a comment and hit save
Warning appears in the screen and comment is not saved

Diagnostic Steps
Enable Safe Mode by navigating to Confluence Admin >> Manage Add-Ons, test again and see if the problem persists, as it can be caused by one of the add-ons.
See if Comala Workflows plugin is installed

Comala Workflows is the root cause of the issue. Contact Comala support.

Resolution
Disable the Comala workflow or upgrade to version 4.13.1 or later. This issue was fixed in Comala Workflows 4.13.1 per the Release Notes.
