Profile Visibility Defaults for Managed and UnManaged accounts

Your Atlassian Cloud profile shows information like your email address, avatar, role, and time zone.

When an Atlassian account gets created, some of this information is visible to everyone and some are restricted by default.

The Default Profile visibility options for Managed and Unmanaged accounts are:

For a Managed Account:

Profile Photo - Anyone

Full Name - Anyone

Public Name - Anyone

Job Title - Anyone

Department - Restricted to Organisation

Organisation - Restricted to Organisation

Based in (Location) - Restricted to Organisation

Local Time - Restricted to Organisation

Email Address - Restricted to Organisation


Restricted to Organisation essentially means that the information will only be visible to users who are part of the same Atlassian Organisation as the user in question.

Managed Accounts can change the visibility of the above attributes. Following visibility options are available to them:

  1. すべてのユーザー
  2. Organisation

However, the attributes Email Address and Profile Photo have a few more visibility options:

Email Address:

  1. すべてのユーザー
  2. Organisation
  3. Only you and Admins

Profile Photo:

  1. すべてのユーザー
  2. Organisation
  3. Only you

For an Unmanaged Account:

Profile Photo - Anyone

Full Name - Anyone

Public Name - Anyone

Job Title - Anyone

Department - Anyone

Organisation - Anyone

Based in (Location) - Anyone

Local Time - Anyone

Email Address - Only you and Admins

Unmanaged Accounts can change the visibility of the following attributes only:

  1. Based in - Options available are Anyone and Only you
  2. Local time - Options available are Anyone and Only you
  3. Email address - Options available are Anyone, Only you and 'Only you and Admins'
