Capture for JIRA not working with Firefox 43.0 and up
問題
With the latest update of Firefox to version 43.0 the browser add-on of Capture for JIRA is reported to be not signed properly.
原因
There was a change in Firefox's add-on signing mechanism, as described on Extension Signing. Our add-on is currently signed, but the latest version was not on the addons.mozilla.org store. Until it was uploaded there the up to date version of the add-on needed to be installed manually.
On the 31st of December, 2015, we added the signed version of the Capture for JIRA add-on to the addons.mozilla.org store, and users can now upgrade their Capture for JIRA add-on if required through JIRA by following the instructions here.
Workaround to manually download and upgrade
The add-on can be installed outside of the Firefox marketplace as per the instructions below:
- Uninstall the old Capture for JIRA browser add-on.
- Download capture_for_jira-2.9.6.10-fx.xpi.
- Drag and drop it to your Firefox window.
- Confirm the installation.
